Sealed state
Sensitive fields are AES-256-GCM-sealed before storage, the same envelope discipline Sable applies to prompts. A database dump shows structure, never values.
Chained events
Every state change appends to a per-asset hash chain. Rewriting history breaks every later hash; the chain is public and recomputable.
Selective disclosure
The registry signs statements over its own ledger (secp256k1, EIP-191), verifiable by anyone through the public verify endpoint. Attested and anchored, not zero-knowledge, and labeled as exactly that.
Sable Vault is registry infrastructure. Asset entries are issuer-declared; verification covers ledger integrity and public anchoring, not appraisal. Sable does not custody assets, make investment offers, or provide legal enforcement of ownership.
